Beta module
Matches is currently a beta module. That means it is mature enough for daily use, but you may notice small adjustments while we polish it. At the top of the module there is a banner where you can easily send us feedback.
We are opening the module for selected coaches and clubs. If you do not see Matches in the profile menu and want to try it, get in touch and we will consider enabling it.
How the module is laid out
You find Matches from the profile menu. At the bottom of the screen you have four tabs:
- Matches: match list, create matches and start live recording.
- Squad: players, jersey numbers and positions.
- Trends: form curves, key numbers and leaderboards for the season.
- Statistics: table with season totals per player.
Live recording opens from a match in the match list.
What you do where:
- Build the Squad before your first match.
- Create matches under Matches and record them live or afterwards.
- Track development in Trends and Statistics.
In clubs with multiple teams you can filter which teams you see data for, via the team picker at the top.
See Recording a match and Season totals and development for details.
The philosophy: development, not ranking
Statistics in Planr is built around a few principles worth keeping in mind before you get started:
- Follow trends, not single numbers. Averages over time say more than any single match.
- Celebrate more than goals. Assists, steals, good defensive actions and save percentage deserve as much attention as scoring.
- Keep negative numbers internal. Misses and technical errors belong in your own analysis, not on the team list.

You can record statistics live while the match is being played, or fill them in afterwards from the match report or memory. Live gives you the most detail, while recording…
Season totals and development
Once you have recorded a few matches, it gets interesting to see how the team and individual players develop over time. Trends and Statistics gather this across the season.
