Share a training session

Sharing lets others read the entire session without editing it. Typical use is sending the plan to a co-coach before the gym, to a team leader who coordinates equipment, or to a parent who wants to prepare their child.

Public share link

In the session view or session menu you'll find share or copy link. The link opens a readable version of the session in a browser. The recipient doesn't need to sign in.

Important: anyone with the link can open it and pass it on. Don't use sharing for sensitive strategy or personal data.

Limits on Planr Basic

On Planr Basic a monthly quota applies to new shares (typically up to 10 per calendar month in the current setup). Pro, Pro + AI and Hub have unlimited sharing.

You can see the number used and remaining this month in the share flow or under Subscription. If you need to share frequently on Basic, Pro or shared Hub links from the club are common solutions.

Short link

Where a short link is available (/s/...), it's easy to paste into SMS or messaging apps with a character limit. It points to the same content as the regular link.

Share with a team inside the club

In a club setup, sessions can also be tied to teams so the right coaches find them in Planr without a separate link. That's useful for building a template bank that all coaches on U16 can inherit. Internal team sharing follows roles and access in Hub and isn't the same as a public link.

Language on the shared view

The recipient can in some places choose a language on the shared page where drill translations exist. The default may follow the browser or a parameter on the link. See Languages in Planr.

Updated content

When you edit the session after the link has been sent, the link usually shows the latest saved version. That's handy for "living documents", but can confuse if someone took a screenshot of an old version. For big changes: send the link again and write a short "updated at 14:00".

Safe use

  • Paste links into closed chats or parent groups if the session describes something you don't want spread further.
  • Don't include player names with sensitive health information in the session text.

FAQ

Can I revoke the link?

Depending on the version, you can stop sharing or update settings on the session. If you're unsure, contact support and tell us which session it concerns.

Why doesn't the recipient see the video?

Ask the recipient to open the same link in Chrome or Safari. Let support know if that doesn't fix it.

Can players edit the session?

No. Sharing is read-only. Editing requires sign-in and access.
